Hey everybody, this is my first thread. =D Thanks in advance!

I'll be a junior this coming school year, and I want to take AP Statistics before college. The thing is, I'll be taking Calc-AB this year, and Calc-C in my senior year. I have the impression that students have to work relatively harder for Calc-C than Calc-AB; Since the busy college applicating process is happening in senior year, I don't feel like taking Stat nxt year - wouldn't that be a bit too much to handle?
So I thought of taking Stat this year, along with my Calc-AB class. But right now my schedule is already full with my 4 AP core classes, 1 GT Spanish-4 class, 1 accounting class, and a music theory class. I love music, so I want to take the music theory class as a fun elective (though people tell me it's "a waste of time"), also to give myself some time to breathe - I have to make time for my flute & piano lessons, and volunteer hours for 2 museums in the city.

I'm thinking of dropping the music theory class and taking Stat this year. My friend kept telling me not to stress myself out (I don't know how well I can handle 5 AP classes, including 2 math...), she also said that the music class will look good for college, shows me as a "well-rounded" person? (but won't my ECs show that?) But I can also take music classes at a more prestigious music school nearby if I really want to take the class. As I've already said, I just wanted to take the class at my school so I don't give myself too much stress.

So what should I do? I would really apppreciate it if you guys can offer some suggestions! =)
- Should I drop the music theory class and take Stat this year?
- I think someone told me that colleges don't consider AP scores during the admission process, is this true? I thought of taking Stat mainly to impress the colleges...T_T I'm a straight-A student at a top high school in my state, and I'm planning on applying for top universities...
