Hey guys, on my TAG application, I stated that I will not be taking any classes for SPRING 2012. But I found out that I will most likely have to...so when I fill out my uc application and state that I will be taking Calculus in the spring, will it mess things up since my TAG application isn't "in sync" with my UC application?

Should I just state that I will not be taking any classes in the spring for now and just wait until January to update both applications at the same time? just so they're both identical?

thanks a lot for your time guys.

It will be fine. Because UC know you can’t predict the future so they allow you to update the information during the spring semester.

thanks for the reply lawlking. So would you recommend that I state that I will not be taking any classes for Spring on my UC App like my TAG app and change both of them together at the same time in January?

thanks again

No, you should list them as usual on your normal app. You don’t want to make the same mistake twice. You can edit them in Jan anyways. Just put something down to indicate that you have an idea of what to take your last semester.

So sparkyboy, you would recommend that he puts in the class he will take in the spring in the UC application, and update his TAG application later in January to be exactly identical to the UC application?

thanks, I’m sort of in his position as well.

^ yeah, in TAG, they will not penalize you for not putting / put wrong class that you will take in Spring because it was just September and most schools hadn’t released spring class schedule yet.
I don’t know if you would be able to edit TAG because the decision comes out on 11/15, much sooner than the end date of fall semester, but I think it doesn’t matter at all if you put different classes for Spring in two applications. Just make sure that the completed courses and in-progress courses are listed correctly, and you are good to go Don’t worry about spring lol.
