<p>I took the act writing portion this past september. I made a 28 and want to retake it in October (i plan on sending the Oct score as well as the sept score.) but i dont want to retake the writing portion in Oct. The college i'm looking at requires the writing part so if i send the last act w/o the writing will they accept it since i took it once or do i have to take it again?</p>

<p>I think it depends on the college. Some take your best subscores, but others don’t. You should contact the admissions department and ask them.</p>
