I've heard many times that colleges see all your SAT attempts, but that this isn't true for the ACTs.

Does this basically mean that we can choose one score in one sitting and report that? While the college never finds out that it was our second, or third sitting? Because that seems a bit awkward...

The Common Application has more than one space for ACT score reporting, so this in itself makes this whole thing more confusing for me...x_X.

I appreciate any help clearing this up!

You only get to pick one. Each score report only contains the score from one testing, so if you want to send two tests, you'll have to order (and pay for) two score reports.

If you happened to send two scores, then you probably will fill out two fo the three spaces for ACT reporting. Although I don't know why you would, unless you got two 35's? With different subscores so they can superscore if they do that?

I kinda wish it was like the SATs, so colleges won't think you sat around and kept taking the test til you got a good score.
