Confused about admission status

Hello thank you for checking on my post.

I'm currently on my transferring process and waiting for decisions.

I applied around 10 schools and one I'm confused is for the fall semester.

The applicant status says I'm admitted, but I haven't sent any transcripts yet to the

college.

I did sent an email to the admissions office but just wondering if anyone had experience like

this.

Can you get admitted to college even before you sent necessary documents for evaluation?

Do you think the problem I'm facing is just basic systematic error.

Answers will eventually come from them, but just wanted to know in advanced. What do

you guys think? Thanks

Applicant status: incomplete, complete, admitted

There must be a glitch. How do they accept you if they don’t know you performance?

Sounds like a glitch but all you’ll get here are guesses. A telephone call is in order dontcha think?

Thx for the replies, sorry for following up so late. I got email back from their admissions office and they say I’m accepted based on the information on application but the acceptance can change once my transcripts are evaluated. It is however kind of odd…

Basically, they consider you admissible based on where you are currently enrolled. However as with every other admissions offer on the planet, that acceptance can be rescinded if the final transcript that you send at the end of your last term at the old institution turns out to be lousy. So keep the grades up.

And congratulations! You have one option in the bag!

this isn’t for transfer, but i think berkeley doesn’t require (want) transcripts for some reason which I found weird. So this is not impossible even for freshman applicants

There are schools actually telling applicant not to send their transcripts until they are admitted. So there are schools admitting students relying on the information on the application and official test scores.
