This morning I received an email telling me to check my CalIfornia Aid Report. Here's what it looks like:
UCLA cal grant A: 12192
UCI cal grant A: 12192
UCSD cal grant A: 12192
I didn't qualify for cal grant B at all.

So I'm confused because I think I just received 12k for these 3 UC's??? I usually never qualify for financial aid... I don't get free or reduced lunch at school, and I can't even get a fee waiver on AP tests or SAT. So how could it be possible that I qualify for 12192 for Cal Grant A?
I think I'm misreading the chart or something. Please tell me if I am misreading/misunderstanding my report.

Also, what if I get rejected by all 3 schools? Does that mean I won't have any money offered to me for any other schools???

Yes, as it stands now if you are accepted to and attend one of the listed schools, you will receive $12,192 toward your tuition/fees. If you have filled out your FAFSA using estimated numbers and the actual numbers turn out to be higher when you make corrections, your grant status may change.

If you are rejected by those schools but accepted to another qualifying California school, you will change your school on your WebGrants for students account. At a CSU such as Cal Poly, the Cal Grant would be $5,472. At a qualifying California private such as Chapman, the Cal Grant would be $9,084.
