Confused about cross listed courses and minors?!?

<p>So I am trying to figure out my schedule and what classes can help me out now...</p>

<p>If a course is cross listed as several courses, such as Cognitive Science COGS 001 which is also listed as CIS 140, can i just sign up for it as COGS 001 to fulfill my living world sector requirement and use it to fulfill as class for a computer science MINOR? Can I use multiple cross listed courses to fulfill a minor? Can I use Math 313, crosslisted as CIS 313 to fulfill a minor as well? </p>

<p>BTW I am in SAS</p>

<p>I believe you can double count Cogs 1 as living world and CIS minor and can use CIS 313 to fulfill CIS minor. I would double check with the CIS department to make sure those courses cout towards the minor, but as far as I know, the only required CIS courses are 110-121 and the rest can be whatever so long as they are at least at the 100 level.</p>
