<p>i'm applying to emory via the common app. </p>
<p>this what my impression is: emory only requires the personal statement essay from the common app and the "why emory?" essay from the supplement. </p>

<p>on the requirements, it says an essay about yourself and two short answers, that's why i'm asking.</p>
<p>There may be a difference between the Common App and Emory's own application. I would suggest calling an admissions rep at Emory to clarify.</p>
<p>you have to turn in an essay about "why Emory" its more like a couple of paragraphs along with the essay from the common app</p>
<p>I'm doing the long essay and activites essay from common app and the Emory scholars essay. 3 essays. I have to do both common app essays for other schools anywya</p>
