<p>Why do colleges offer Spring 20-- admission? I thought college always started the semester in the fall.</p>

<p>Many schools, especially larger ones, admit freshmen in the spring (and sometimes in the summer). It’s less common at LACs and schools with more rigid freshman GE schedules.</p>
