Confused about Georgetown's policy -- EA with no SAT II's?

According to Georgetown's website: (Georgetown University- Office of Undergraduate Admissions)

Given the Early Action deadline of November 1, the Committee on Admissions recognizes that applicants may not be able to meet the SAT Subject Test requirements. Those candidates are welcome to submit an Early Action application, and the application will be considered complete and reviewed in its entirety. Candidates applying under the Early Action plan who have not yet taken three Subject Tests should still register to take the tests in the event they are deferred from Early Action to Regular Decision.

Now, I take this to mean that those who apply EA do not have to take SAT II's to be considered. I understand that, if deferred, one must then take the 3 SAT II's to be considered during regular decision.

My question is... if I apply EA without SAT II's and I'm accepted, does that mean I do not have to take those tests whatsoever?

I guess not! But the chances that you will be accepted to Gtown without any SAT II's is quite slim, from my perspective. After all, Gtown is even more stringent on SAT IIs than other colleges, requiring 3 instead of 2.

That's true, but all of the other schools I'm applying to want/recommend 2. I thought maybe I had found a way around the third test lol, I guess I should take an extra one anyway.
