Confused about parent contribution

<p>The only way to shelter that much money is a define benefit program. For each dollar you earned, you can shelter $2, But that is very expensive and there is an annual fee to administer the program.</p>

<p>I’m not smart so I can forget trying to shelter money! dean karr was hugely personable! They picked the right person to go out and recruit. </p>

<p>We looked at Olin only cause they are recruiting my son heavily but they only have 700 total students and have only been around a few years. Son said thanks but no thanks. There are so many other good choices out there. He does want the traditional college experience. I’ll check the others you mentioned. The only ones on his list he hasn’t visited are A&M and Alabama! He goes to Georgia Tech shortly. Excited to see how that experience compared to MIT!</p>

<p>Bama is a relatively easy drive from GT…just west on I-20.</p>

<p>Yeah wish he had more time…sending him by himself to GT.</p>
