OK, so I thought results would be released on the MIT website (but not "my mit?), but then I read here on CC that results would come in the mail. So, now I'm confused :-).

a blog is posted on MITs website telling us when the results can be accessed through something like mymit (different site I think but same username and password) and then I think they mail results later (for sure if you are accepted and idk for rejected/deferred)

ok, thanks. the reference to the package shape in another thread confused me, as it was implied that that would be how you could determine if you were accepted or not. glad to hear we won’t have to wait for snail mail :-)

The reference to ‘The Tube’ that you probably saw is talking about the cylindrical package mailed out to EA admits. The Tube does not arrive until well after results are released online, so it will probably not be how anyone finds out.

molliebatmit kind of insinuated that admitted students may or may not receive a tube this year…if that is the case, I’m sure MIT wouldn’t disappoint and it would be something equally or more epic.

molliebatmit insinuates nothing.

big blinky innocent eyes

how about not insinuating the status of our applications as opposed to the epicness of the package…?

big blinky innocent needing-to-get-accepted eyes

Don’t have any insider info on that.

What I do know is that if a decision date hasn’t been announced yet, then the decisions haven’t been made yet.
