Confused about residency and family support?

So I was looking at the Cal State residency requirements since I just moved here (CA from TX) last December with my dad (for his job), and I found this:

"Evidence that you are receiving out-of-state financial support in any way, either
directly (e.g. tuition payments, parent PLUS loans, etc.) or indirectly (e.g.,
parent-purchased or co-purchased residences, parent-controlled financial
portfolios), will disqualify you from California residency for-tuition-purposes."

I'm planning on becoming a resident this December, and will be attending a CSU this fall. My father doesn't make enough to pay for all of it, and he doesn't want to take out loans... so my uncle that lives in Colorado offered to help me out financially for some of my tuition and stuff. But now after reading that, I'm confused? Would I not be able to do that? Could I have him wire the money to my or my fathers bank account, or maybe another family member of mine that lives in California? I intend in living and getting a job in CA after I graduate. I have no other ties to Texas other than some family that lives there, but that is irrelevant since my father has full custody. Any help?
