but the priority deadline already passed sooooo...... idk

East Brunswick/Pisacataway is hardest to get into, for your desired interests.

I go to Rutgers so I can answer your questions. In reference to the question about the priority deadline you cn still apply if you want to. It is only December 3 so it will not have a impact on you. But do not wait to long because you might run into some problems (3 + weeks). There are 4 campus on RUtgers NB- College Ave, Busch, Douglas (womens campus), Cook and Livingston. Cook and Douglas share their campus. Livingston is the campus that most students tend to aviod(campus is outdated) while College Ave and Busch are the popular ones with the most activity. Cook campus is really quite but good times can be had. If you were to go into Pre-Med the campus you will have most if not all is Busch campus where most Pharmacy, Pre-Med , and Enginering students are. IF you need more info pst back.

i'm just a junior in h.s. so i'm not applying just to clarify...but i do get really confused when people talk about rutgers campuses

thanks for the comments guys

i will visit Rutgers soon

does anyone know how NJIT is (location, difficulty to get in, campus life) ?

NJIT is in Newark.. i know that much. By the way, whoever said East Brunswick/Piscataway shouldn't be answering questions about Rutgers :) the campus is in New Brunswick.

KaRU gave a good rundown of the different campuses. I just wanted to add that campuses aren't "harder" to get into anymore, as an applicant. The previous undergraduate liberal arts schools that were focused on one campus have been combined to form the School of Arts and Sciences. However, it will be harder to get a room on College Ave or Busch as a freshman than, say, Livingston.

I would live on whatever campus you like most without tooo much regard to what major you are. I'm pre-med as well (just to clarify, that's not a major) and I live on College Ave. because I like it most. I would advise taking a tour and searching around the admissions web site to learn more.

NJIT is in Newark and it's not that hard to get into.

No super, it is in both NB and Piscataway.

With regard to NJIT- it's in Newark which is definitely a place I would try to avoid if possible. Quite dangerous.

i am not one of those super kids so if someone can tell me if i can get into
RU NB (Busch Campus)/NJIT/Penn State that would be great!
