I took the October 6th SAT but I don't think the results will be that good...do i HAVE to send these scores to colleges? Can I wait till my December SAT results come in and then pick which scores I want to send?

Oh and, there is no deadline to send the scores right? We can send them to the colleges, whenever, as long as it's before their application deadline (most privates are Jan 1st, does this apply for their SAT report deadline too?)

You CANNOT pick and choose which SAT scores you want to be sent to colleges. If you need to send SAT scores to a college, ALL of the SAT tests you have taken (SAT IIs included) will be on the score report sent to colleges.

Yes, you can order score reports at any time. Be sure, though, that the colleges receive the score reports before the application deadline. As far as I know, it takes 1-2 weeks to reach the college from the time of ordering.

Thanks, cewolf1.

how long would it take if I did "rush" sending? and also, let's say the deadline for a private university is January 1st. I get my December 1st SAT results on the 18th, and then list those on the college application, and then file the application on say the 20th. Will the college take what's on the app even though the score report didn't arrive until 1 week later?
