confused about scholarship

so i got the acceptance letter + package in the mail today. in the letter, it said that my admissions "is further distinguished with an annually renewable full-tuition Presidential International Scholarship." and then it mentioned nothing about it anywhere else in the package. i'm not sure if "full-tuition" literally means full tuition, or is it only partial? or +room and board and everything? and it doesn't mention as exact amount.. i'm slightly confused.. sent an email to gwadm already, but i was wondering if anyone else is in similar circumstances.

A tuition scholarship usually means it pays tuition - not room and board or anything else.

Hey gnoodle, I would like to ask where do you live if you received P. international scholarship? I am an international too and I havent received anything yet and I am starting to worry. The only thing I know is from application status check that I was admitted. No more emails or normal mail. Oh and did you receive it via courrier service?

gnoodle, would you mind sharing your stats? I understand that it would be the same for me because you are apparently international, but it would still help answer some of my questions.

Yes it should cover all of your tuition, total of ~$41,000. I am really curious about your stats and major. We would love to hear them if you dont mind sharing with us…

yes please! im international too so would like to hear more! thanks

i’ve never really posted my stats up, so just a small summary.

GPA: 4.1 (weighted i think, i don’t really get my school’s grading system)
SAT: CR700/M710/W800
SAT Math: 650, Lit: 620, Chinese: 790
4 APS (1 last year- got a 4, taking 3 this year)
ECs:
MUN (been to about 8 conferences in europe/asia), soccer, community service, drama, and other minor ones.
i speak 3 languages and have moved around a lot.
my essays were good i guess. but i did not expect myself to be qualified for a merit scholarship… let alone full ride. :S
i applied for the elliot school of international affairs.
i received my package quite late murko… i found out more than a week ago that i was admitted. so chances are you’ll be getting it soon!

Congratulations!! That is a terrific scholarship.
