confused about sciences

im freshman at UMD cp and im not sure what to do about my schedule...im undecided about my major right now but im thinking either pysch or business for now...my schedule right now looks like this :

intro bio
intro pysch
honors business seminar (required)
honors seminar (required)
calc 1

my dilemma is in order to take the next level bio i must take chem 1 first...this means i think ill get stuck taking bio2 (cell and phisology) along with organic chemistry my sophomore year....would this be suicide? my other option is to transfer my Ap bio credit...which i got a 4 in and take chem 1 this year and bio2 next semster so i can take orgo chem 1 my first semester soph yr and orgo chem my second semester soph year...my concern is will med school admissions prefer to see that A in intro to bio or will the 4 suffice? i htin i coudl easily get an a intro bio which would pad my gpa...but woudl that be worth taking bio 2 and orgo chem in the same semester?? PLEASE HELP IM SO CONFUSED!?!?!

what schools UMD? And yea Im in the same boat as u...I'm just gonna do Bio 2, Orgo Chem, AND physics haha soph year. now THATS suicide. At orientation, a lot of students said that orgo chem is really over blown in its difficulty, so i'm ok with it. All it requires is a little extra study :) But u do what u want, depends if u wanna cram all ur sciences in ur 1st 2 yrs like me, haha

bump anyone?!?!

Do med schools see your AP grades too?

I took organismic bio with orgo, and history and an English class. I did fine, but the orgo was condensed from a year into a semester, so it wasn't your usual weeder class (I think it was easier).

btw, did u ask your advisor?

i havent had a chance to talk 2 my premed advisor...but as u kno collegepark is a huge school and my regular advisor basically jsut asked me what classes i wanna take..by the time i get a chance 2 talk 2 my premed advisor the school year would have started
