For example, one of the colleges I plan to apply to is Yale, which only allows score choice for SAT Subject Tests. Since I am allowed to self-report my scores on the Common App (ACT 35 single sitting, SAT Math II 800, SAT Chemistry 800, and several AP tests), do I self-report only the scores that I want when applying and then submit all official scores if I’m admitted or do I self-report every test score and also submit every test score officially if I’m admitted? Essentially, is “score choice” a factor in self-reporting?
https://admissions.yale.edu/standardized-testing
"Self-Reporting Scores: First-year applicants will satisfy Yale’s standardized testing requirement by self-reporting all ACT and/or SAT scores on the application and/or via the “Update Application” form, available on the Yale Admissions Status Portal after an application has been received. Applicants who are offered admission and choose to matriculate at Yale will be required to provide official results prior to enrolling. "
Key word being “all”, for SAT or ACT (or both of you choose to report both).
Subject Test, you can report what you’d like.
You also appear to have the option to report scores “ via the “Update Application” form, available on the Yale Admissions Status Portal after an application has been received.“ if you don’t want to put every score on the Common App but need to get all scores to Yale
