What’s the common app exactly? I narrow down my college choices down to around 10 now and ready to apply. I asked around and people suggest me to use the common app, https://www.commonapp.org/Login. Which submits all choices at once, correct me if I am wrong. Some suggest using this site http://cuny.edu/admissions/apply.html, and college board redirect me to cuny app for apply to college. So what’s the difference of using the common app and using the cuny app. what are the pro and con of each?

The Common App does not submit all your applications all at once. You can submit only one application at a time. To answer your last question, CommonApp is used by over 517 colleges while only CUNY schools use the CUNY application. There is not so much a pro and a con to each as most schools don’t give you the option of which to submit. Some schools do (Columbia) though I don’t know why you’d want to fill out all of that information again if you’d have to fill out the CommonApp anyway for other schools.
uhh bro. i think ur a tad bit too late. most college deadlines were due. the latest deadline i know of is january 15th (and thats for virginia tech, a non common app school). i think there are a few schools that have deadlines on feburary 1st, but u need to find a teacher to write u a rec letter ASAP. the teacher might get bad that ur asking for a rec letter now, but u can try. if the cuny schools are not listed on the common website, then u have to do the cuny application. only some schools use common app. i know that ALL the SUNY schools use the common app, but the cuny schools dont. if u want to apply to a cuny school, use the cuny application. here are all the colleges that use the common app: https://www.commonapp.org/Login#!PublicPages/AllMembers
