Confused about the whole D thing...

Ok… So I’ve been accepted to two schools (Emmanuel College in Boston, and Albright College in Penn.) so far, and right now I’m a bit nervous. My english class has been a nightmare and I have a D+… I’m trying so hard right now in that class. I’m not horrible at english, the teacher is just harsh. So, whats the deal. I’m going to some mediocre schools, nothing like Harvard, or Princeton, but I’m still nervous. What grades will they accept on a midyear report? Will they accept my D if every other class looks pretty good? Are F’s the only thing that bother them enough to rescind their offers? Ahhh So confused, please enlighten me! Thanks!

call 'em n see wut they say

Good Idea... LOL

Go to your teacher and explain your concern. Ask if there is anything extra you can do to bring your grade up i.e extra credit, re-write a paper, then continue to work hard. If a college is concerned they will contact your guidance counselor to voice their concerns, but remember your mid-year grade is just that, mid-year. The final grade is the one that counts.
