<p>the fact that you were accepted for freshman admissions is not going to effect whether or not you will be accepted for transfers…do not bank on this, you are just another applicant to them at this point</p>
<p>cant speak for any particular school but nyu, but transfer admission rates tend to be lower than freshman rates</p>
<p>a 3.5 gpa from a city school is not going to be at all competitive for nyu cas or, sheesh, cornell…those are, i think, pretty far reaches for you, especially when sat’s are taken into account (although they tend to matter less as you move through college)…fordham may actually be a good fit when all is said and done, but you are not a lock to get in and the fact you were accepted before is not going to help you</p>
<p>if you are serious about wanting to transfer to schools at the nyu or even cornell level from your city school i would recommend that you put in two full years whever your at and raise that gpa up into the 3.8-4.0 level (if you get a 3.5 this semester, that pretty much means nothing less than A’s here on out)</p>
