Hi, I have been accepted to UC Irvine to major in English and I am so happy about it. I have also been accepted to University of San Francisco. As far as ranking goes, Irvine tops in English. But the location of both universities I have been accepted to is drastically different. From my point of view, Irvine is calm, beautiful and serene. And SF is busy and bubbling with opportunities every hour. What do you think? What should I do? Please help.
No one can answer you question. In which environment to do you see yourself feeling the most comfortable for the next 4 years?
One that is bubbling with opportunities, is not socially dead and where no one gives a shit about anyone?
I personally think you should go to SF
I think so too. But do you say this due to prior experience?
As someone that lives near the irvine area, I can assure you that irvine is also bubbling with opportunities. It’s within driving distance of some very well-known shopping centers,(fashion island, south coast plaza, irvine spectrum, etc.) It’s also not to far from other places such as angles stadium, knott’s berry farm, and disneyland. In addition to all of that, UCI is only about 4-5 miles from the closest beach (the school also offers a free shuttle to different beaches as well as the shopping centers previously mentioned). At the end of the day both places offer great environments. Hope this helps
