Confused about who I should ask for recommendations?

Basic info: I wanna major in History, Anthropology, or some social science (I'm determined to narrow down my choices this summer) and do premed. The people I (probably) can ask are:

Language teacher: taught me for 3 years (freshman to junior), I'm a really good student and she constantly teases me about that, I'm kind of quiet cause tbh I didn't like that many people in that class lol, I'm one of the few students that isn't on the board of her club (I feel like that might be a disservice to me)

English teacher: taught me for AP English junior year, commented that I'm a good student and I did really well in the class, didn't really participate in his class much (we got off topic ALLL the time) but when I did I got the answers spot on, I have him again next year so I can sort of manage to make a greater effort to participate (esp. with non-AP students)

AP Psych teacher: taking AP Psych senior year, had her for Honors History freshman year and wasn't so hot first semester but improved a lot second semester, the reason I think I should ask her is because I want to go into neuroscience after I graduate college so I feel like it's pertinent for her to comment on my interest in the subject and how I am in the class

I just feel like it'll be really stupid for me to not ask my Language teacher but I'm just not sure how my rec will come out. I mean I've aced her class ever since freshman year but I'm just not super social and don't share every aspect of my life, unlike basically everyone else in that class. And even though she's known me for 3 years, I'm not really sure how it'll come out. I feel like she can strongly vouch for me academically, but won't get to say much about me as a person. Opinions?

You don’t need to do ANY narrowing down because you don’t need to declare your major until the end of your soph year in college, most likely. As long as you plan your schedule with enough flexibility (while taking your pre med req courses), you can feel 100% fine to declare UNDECIDED, which is what you are.

As to LoRs, see what your target colleges need. Very few require them. Fewer require more than one. If I were you, I’d prioritize: Eng teacher first. But why no math/sci teacher? For an aspiring Dr, that’s strikingly absent.

I disagree with above. Get a rec from the teacher who can talk about ALL your strengths. I am a to-be neuroscience student who got recs from Language and English teachers! You’ll need english skills is ALL areas, so that wouldn’t hurt.
