I don't know what ED deadline and 2nd ed deadline is. Does JHU do these two events? I am planning to apply to a semi-safety ed, and then I will apply to JHU 2nd ed...I have no clue of what these are so please help. I would dually like to apply JHU earliest but my stats don't support me enough for me to be considered a strong applicant (you can search around my past threads for my chance stats (I don't know how to add the link so my apologeez for that)).

If you are past alumni's could you guys explain me what colleges allow you to apply to multiple colleges in ED round? Is JHU that way? Thanks

ED deadline (there’s only one, they don’t participate in two ed rounds) is November 1st, and the decisions come out December 15th.

Johns Hopkins doesn’t forbid you from applying to other schools under their Early Decision plan (only if the other schools are early ACTION though, no other Early Decisions) but they strongly encourage you not to.

Any school that has an early action plan allows you to apply to multiple schools under early action. Only Single Choice Early Action allows you to pick one and only one school for early action rounds.

Hope that helps :)

cool! thanks for the help, I’ll see if the school i’m applying ed allows early action…but I see your point why I should just apply to one school during this round. :)
