ok so basically i'm a high school senior and i want to take SAT for the last (4th) time in January. but i heard that the SAT for that month for seniors doesn't really count...depending on the college...i'm currently in the low 2200 range but want at least a 2300+...do you think i should retake it? even if the colleges don't accept my scores, i can still use them for scholarship purposes right?

thanks:]

any input or similar experiences would be great!

i wanted to apply to some ivy schools by the way…but not sure anymore

If schools you apply to don’t accept the January SAT, then they won’t consider it for scholarship money I don’t think. If you have a complete college list, chances are that some on your list accept the January SAT. Figure this out (check college website, call the college, etc.) before you take it again. If you think you can get 2300+ and a college will accept the score, then by all means take it.

thanks crazybandit!

do you know or have you heard of anyone accepted to top schools (like Ivys…lol) who took SAT in January as a senior by any chance?
