Hey guys,
Im gonna be applying to Brown ED, and I have a little bit of a problem.
So far, I have 3 main Essay topics in mind, but im not really sure which one I should choose.Any Imput would be so helpful guys.

Topic 1,Fishing Trip- I went on a fishing trip over the summer in which I got reallyl sea sick. I was thinking of twisting this essay into showing that I got a new perspective on how thankful I am to be healthy.I plan on showing that once I got off the boat I was fine, however people everyday are in this state of sickness and can do nothing about it. I can make this one very humerous.

Topic 2- In this topic I would want to express my love for music, but I feel this is a little cliche.

Topic 3- I wanted to metaphorically compare my life to a peice of music.

So, should I go with the humorous Fishing Trip, the safe essay about my musical passion, or the unique comparison?

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Truthfully, I'm not seeing how the first one could be at all humorous lol ANd while you say you would talk about how it gave you a new perspective, make sure the essay doesn't become more about sick people than you.

Even the music interest thing cna be interesting.

I don't think the third topic is as uncommon as you think.

(Geez, I sound evil!) I think you should write all three fo the essays. Let otehrs read them, but in the end, whichever voice conveyed most resembles your own should be the essay you pick.

That was the advice I was going to give. Or at least, outline all three essays. The topic isn't everything. It's how you write on that topic that matters.
