Please can someone explain to me how taking the SATI/IIs works from abroad?

I read somewhere that the SAT1 has to be taken on a different date from the subject tests - is this true?

Also how many subject test can be taken in one sitting? Is it two? Is it only Princeton and Harvard that require 3 subject test?

What is the SAT latest testing date for regular decision?

Also, finally, if applying as a relatively well-chanced international student for Ivy and similar institutions (the average anyway), is it better to apply RD or ED/EA with regards to improved admissions chances?

Any responses would be great. Thanks!

Confused.com haha are you British? At least it’s not comparethemarket…

Yes.

I think as many as you want. But it’s probably not a good idea to do more than 3.

Most schools seem to accept January scores but can’t guarantee they will arrive in time. For international applicants it’s better to have everything done by the December test date at the latest.

Really, there’s no such thing as a relatively well-chanced international student. Unless you’re Emma Watson. If you have a definite first choice, then EA/ED is beneficial. If financial aid is important, RD might be better so you can compare aid packages.

Good luck!

Oh and I forgot to say that I believe Princeton just changed their policy and you only need 2 for there now. Harvard and I think a couple of LACs still want 3 though. And thinking about it, I have a feeling 3 might be the maximum you can take in one sitting.

Haha yes I am British - I forgot that only fellow Brits would get the title!! Cheers for the help  good luck with all your applications etc.
