Confused, Please Help!!! AP Credit "granted after meeting w Physics conc advisor"

For LSA at Michigan, the website explaining AP Credit is confusing the heck out of me:
University of Michigan - AP Credit Guidelines

For Physics C: Mechanics. It says " 5 credit hours for 140(4) & 141(1) will be granted following meeting with Physics concentration advisor (signature required for credit)" In the box for # of credit hours, it says "NC" for No Credit.

^^ Does this mean you only get credit if you concentrate in Physics? Or what? I really don't understand.

Please help!

I would say it means you have to meet with the Physics Concentration advisor at your college and he/she decides whether you will get credit for the AP.

You don't have to major in physics to get the credits. Basically they just want to get a chance to try and convince you to further pursue physics.

you will get it once you meet with them. it is guaranteed. they just want to try to pursuade you to do physics...which is hard. like one of the few hard majors in LSA
