Confused! Please help.

I am currently a junior at a school that doesn't offer many APs and doesn't rank students.

I understand that schools send out a school profile. I saw my school's profile, and it never mentions that students aren't ranked and that we hardly have an AP classes. It doesn't even list all the classes available to us, just the required courses.

How will colleges know, then, that this is the case? I don't want to waste space over it in an essay or something.

Will this hurt my chances?

Well, your guidance counselors will send a list of courses offered at the school with your transcript when you are applying. They will take into account the different environment that you have had compared to the other applicants.

Oh, okay. I thought that the only send the one sheet of paper as the School Profile.

I overreacted.

Thanks. :]

also, on most school reports that counselors fill out, there's a box that asks "Does your school rank?" Don't worry.

Also, the admissions counselor reading your application should be familiar with your school (assuming that the adcom is not new)
