<p>sophomore from Clarkson University, chemica engineering major current GPA: 3.325, first semester: 3.25 second semester :3.25 third semester : 3.5 but drop 1 class . Also, i have research experience. high school GPA about 3 and low SAT
planning on transfer case western, RPI, Cornell, U of Illinois, northeastern, Johns Hopkins, Tufts Purdue, VT, northwestern ..
do you guys think it is difficult to transfer to those schools with my GPA ???
i am lost now, pls help

<p>Sorry to break this to you but your GPA seems quite low for Cornell, JHU, Tufts and Northwestern… I am not sure about the rest.
As I understand from this, you are already a sophomore so you can’t really wait another to transfer.
How about transferring into less prestigious schools? Do you really have to transfer?
Just take there into consideration.</p>
<p>I don’t think you can transfer into any of those schools with your GPA, except for maybe the University of Illinois
however, there are a certain amount of requirements you must fulfill.</p>
