confused re Engineering - Physics BS/Mechanical Engineering BS...

is "Engineering - Physics BS/Mechanical Engineering BS" a dual-degree program?

It’s a five year dual degree program.

[NYU > CAS > Bulletin > 2011 - 2013 > Dual Degree Program in Engineering (with the Polytechnic Institute of NYU)](http://cas.nyu.edu/object/engineering.1113.ug.info)

well, it says 5-year. but is it a master degree or bachalor degree?

cuz in Canada almost all of the 5-year programs are master. i have no idea what it is like in US.

You receive two bachelor’s after the five years. For example, you would receive a B.S. in Physics from CAS and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Poly.

so it is harder to get in, right?

btw.what is the BS stands for?

I’m not sure, but you could certainly discuss this with the program advisor or Admissions.
Bachelor of Science - B.S.

thanx.
do you mean via admissions.ops@nyu.edu??

Yes, that’s the correct address.

thanks.:::::XD
did you get in?
