1. On the instructions for the Teacher Evaluation it asks teachers to "Please write whatever you think is important about this student..." Is this asking for a LOR or just a few sentences? </p>

3. If a college/uni only asks for 1 letter of rec should only 1 Teacher Evaluation be completed (supposing they use the Common App, of course)?</p>

<li><p>One of the colleges I'm applying to uses the Common App exclusively, but also supplies its own form for a teacher reference...do both the common app's teacher evaluation and this college's form have to be completed? If both have to be completed, do you think they can be completed by the same teacher? (I will check w. the college ASAP, but that won't be until 2morrow...)</p></li>

For the whole application to be complete, yes. For the Common App itself, no. The application is divided into Common App, Supplements, Payment, School Forms. To complete your part of the School Forms, you just have to assign the teachers</p>
