well im at a community college right now and my main goal is to get into UCB or UCSD, after that i would really like to go to medical school and i am willing to work for it.... But i have been getting conflicting information, i was at first plannin to be a Bio major take all my pre reqs for bio, some chem and some physics or at least that is what my counselor has suggested and when i go to whatever university i go to id be going to upper division classes.... But my uncle who has already gone through medical school (UCSF Dermatology) says pick a bs major dont take any science classes and just get GE done... He says i will get killed in upper division bio "its a whole nother ball game" he suggest i just change my major when i transfer and take lower division bio? WHos right? can you please assist with any info or opinions? and please dont say do what you want because i dont know!

well once you change your major at the 4 year uni to bio you still have to do upper and lower div and thenyour like 2 years behind.

and anyhow in UCSD a lot of the bio major are impacted and they will not let you change into them once you transfer in.

That is not true.
At UCSD the only majors that are impacted at the engineering ones. Bio related majors other then Bioengineering should not be impacted.

bumpty bump
