Hello :) I'm new on this website and this is my first post so I hope I'm asking this question in the right place :P Ok, I applied to Cornell and I got a Transfer Option so if I fill the requirements I will automatically get in for the '09-'10 school year and on. I also applied to Ithaca College and I was accepted with a bunch of scholarships so I'm heading over there for my first year. The thing is that I don't know if Ithaca College has the courses that Cornell requires for the transfer option. I'm going to quote what my letter from Cornell said about the courses:

Math Course Requirement: The math req. for your major (Animal Science) is the minimum math required. Depending on your math skills you my need to take a prerequisite course and then the transfer requirement or you may place into a higher level math course which is OK.

Academic Writing/English Composition Courses: Courses that emphasize the development of writing skills (not English literature courses). Or 1 Academic Writing course and 1 Public Speaking/Oral Communication course.

Introductory Biology: Introductory/general biology course or sequence with lab depending on the major. This is a very specific introductory course requirement. Specialized and upper level biology courses do not satisfy this requirement.

See below for additional courses required for your major (Animal Science):

Animal Science: 2 Academic Writing/English Composition courses (Cornell Course - FWS) OR 1 Academics Writing course and 1 Public Speaking Course (Cornell course - COMM 201), Biology 1 & 2 with lab (Cornell Course - BIO), and Statistics (Cornell Course - AEM 210).

Ok, I don't understand what the first part about the math req. is talking about. Is Statistics that math course or something else? But anyways, my main question is that does Ithaca College offer these courses? I was looking over many websites but I couldn't find much info :( If they don't, can I take these courses at Cornell during the year since the colleges are right next to each other? Also, it says "see below for additional requirements" and on the list for my major it says 2 writing/English comp. or 1 Academic Writing/1 Public Speaking, etc. Does this mean I have to take either 4 writing/English comp. or 2 Academic Writing/ 2 Public Speaking, etc.? Or is it just mentioning the original courses again? Ugh, I'm so confused. No one I know knows about this stuff so I hope someone here can help me...
