Confused with transfering..?

I go to Burlington County College and I want to transfer to Rutgers NB School of Nursing.
I also want to transfer with an AA or AS Degree but they only seem to have AAS degree (at burlington), I looked throughout their website.
How many credits do I need to transfer into the Nursing Program at Rutgers NB for a bachelors degree? I cannot find it on the website.
Also, since this is my first year of community college, when do I start to apply for transfer? Do I treat it as senior year of high school and apply as an undergrad?
I'm scared I won't be able to transfer, sorry for all the questions.

It appears that Rutgers is not accepting transfer students from non-Rutgers schools into there Nursing program. They are only accepting current Rutgers students. http://nursing.rutgers.edu/academics/bsn/

For information about transferring from you community college speak to an adviser.

As MLM says, check with an adviser at your Community College. Your CC may also have a Career and Transfer Center, which can help you with researching various nursing programs. Most nursing programs will expect transfers to have at least Anatomy and Physiology, statistics, a college chemistry course, two psychology courses, and a nutrition course completed. These courses will typically take at least four semesters to complete due to the sequencing of the courses. As far as when to apply to transfer, you will need to research the schools you wish to apply to (again, your school’s Career and Transfer Center should be able to assist you with this) for application deadlines for transfer students. You will be applying as a transfer student, so look at the schools’ websites under “transfer students” in the admissions tabs.

Hmm I made an appointment with my transfer advisor. I did check about how they are not accepting non-rutgers students, but it also says that, “The College of Nursing and the School of Nursing-Camden are accepting transfer applications only from individuals with an R.N. completed.”

Is there a chance I’d get in?

Also, I just went through the Rutgers Transfer Application. You cannot pick Rutgers NB School of Nursing if you don’t have a college degree.
But you can pick Rutgers NB School Of Nursing when if you have an associates degree and if you are a RN.
So should I just try to apply after 2 years of community college?

It appears that the Rutgers nursing colleges only offer RN to BS programs OR direct admits from high school to the nursing school at Rutgers. That means you need your RN (which would also include an AAS) before you can apply. You cannot just apply after 2 years of community college. Your community college degree would need to be an AAS/RN in nursing. Note that it may take you more than 2 years to complete the AAS/RN. At our local CC in upstate NY, a prospective nursing major usually cannot even begin the nursing clinical courses until they have completed all the pre-reqs that I listed in my post above. From Burlington’s website it is not clear whether they accept all applicants. You will need to talk to the admissions office or an adviser about that. If the admissions are competitive, it could mean that you would need 3 - 4 years of coursework just to get the AAS/RN. Only after you get this specific degree and pass the national exam to be an RN, can you apply to Rutgers. Be aware that you do not need a BS to be a nurse; the AAS/RN qualifies you. However, many nurses want the BS for career advancement.

One more thing: I do not believe you can “start over” and just apply as a high school direct admit. Since you already would have attended college, you would be considered a transfer, and as noted, Rutgers does not take transfers from non-Rutgers campuses into its BS/RN program.
