Confused?

Hi, I'm slightly confused about a few things, so here are my questions:

Do pre-calculus and college algebra fulfill the 60 (or 90 depending on the school) unit transfer requirement for UCs?

I am confused about how to enter my credits for each class; for example a 5 credit foreign language at Berkeley is equivalent to only 3 credits at my university. When I'm entering the credits for each of my classes, should I put the credit values at Berkeley, for example, or should I put the credit values at my school? I calculated it, and according to my school's system, I would only have something like 45-50 credits by the end of the spring, but according to Berkeley's credit system, I would have more than the 60 unit requirement. So basically, do they convert the credit values to see if I fulfill the unit requirement, or should I do that myself?

this is really strange, but for some reason I fulfill Berkeley's 60 unit requirement, but not UCLA's 90 unit requirement. I converted my credits to each school's (including my expected spring classes), and I was 10 units shy for UCLA. has this happened to anyone else?

1 - Check your IGETC sheet. If college algebra and precalc are listed under IGETC at your college, then yes, they are transferrable. At my CCC both were not considered UC-transferrable, and thus would not count toward 60 semester units or 90 quarter units.

2 - Use the credit values at your school. You must have 60 UC-transferrable units done by the end of spring 2012. You don’t do any conversions or calculations to Berkeley units. If your CCC has 3-unit foreign language classes, that’s what you write down. If you’re going to be under 60 units by that system, you must take a bunch of units next semester to get to that threshold.

3 - This probably happened because you were converting units from your CCC to Berkeley units. You can only use your CCC units as they are listed (3 units).

i dont go to a CCC though, I go to a state university outside of california
