#Confused

So I have been trying to find the best college for me, but you (as you might guess) it is very difficult.

I would like a college that is education focused (I mean like totally serious about quality education.)

Small-medium (So that I can interact comfortably with my peers and professors.)

Quiet, nice environment.

Oh and very important: in CA.

Thanks for the suggestions.

The Claremont Colleges, perhaps? Depending on your stats, obviously.

Also, I think this would be better served in a different forum.

^I agree, but well, I am new and I figured out that many high School students are in similar situations.

Stats, um, what does that mean again, sorry this is my first CC account and I am getting used to the language used. :D

Stats are grades and scores. Welcome to CC:)

Try posting in the College Search and Selection area. There are lots of parents who have been through this with their own children and are very helpful that respond on the thread.

Use collegeboard’s search tool- they let you select the size of the school and location to narrow down results. For the education focus… I would put the selectivity down to very selective or most selective (5-50% admit rate) or put in your SAT/ACT test scores. That should give you a good idea of how academically rigorous the school is. This will definitely give you some schools you haven’t even heard of. Also, if you want more information on the school go to the students review website- very very useful, you can see what other kids thought.

And welcome to CC. It can be a bit overwhelming at first- don’t take everything to heart, it’ll make you a lot better off in the long run :D

Did you really use a hashtag in your title?
Wow. You can interact with your peers and professors at any university, during office hours. Pick schools that you can get into, do research on average UC GPA and SAT statistics for each respective institution. If you want to go to school in california as an out of stater, prepare to pay a ton of money.
