Hello Everyone. I just hope someone could give me some opinions based on a college decision. I've been accepted to two small business colleges, in Massachusetts (Bentley, and Babson College). My dream school rejected me, and I will ultimately attend one of these schools. It would be much appreciated if I could get some feed back. Thanks.

What school rejected you? It would be better to attend the school that has the closest resemblance to your dream school.

I'd say go back and take a second look at your college list.
Some feel a business college too specialized. Some feel just the opposite, that liberal arts is too broad.
A friend of mine finished tops in his accounting degree at business school. He's been turned down for a few jobs because they wanted a broader experience for a more well rounded employee.
Many opinions, I know, but be very thorough with college search, so that all your life you will have no regret knowing you got all info, then made the best decision you could.

younghoss- Thats exactly one of my fears. I am afraid that the schools I applied to are in fact, too specialized. I was rejected from NYU, accepted to Brandeis, and got into a couple of others schools, but none really catch my interest. (I visited brandeis after i applied and hated it, unfortunately).
Basically, its either go to bentley, babson, or a mass. state school, (they aren't very good) I think i am going to end up at babson, and then transfer out after my sophmore year. :(

that is not a good mind set to go into a school with the intention of transferring. Maybe Bentley will catch your eye because you can get your MBA in 5 years and if you do well enough the MBA certainly would help and you could go to a great graduate school after that.

I'm goin to Bentley and the difference between the two schools is that Bentley is a lot more technology focused, has a large student body and a better social life.

Babson on the other hand stresses entrepreneurship more then technology (they are #1 for entreprenurship), has a smaller student body (roughly 1,700 undergrads compared to 4,500 at Bentley) and the social life is reported to be pretty bad.

Decide which of these two schools is more closely related to the dream school that you were rejected by. I think the problem with Babson is that they are only good in entrepreneurship and that their other programs are decent but nothing truly great and due to their expertise in entrepreneurship mostly everyone majors in it.

I suggest picking the school that is most closely related to your dream school and succeeding at that school.

Thanks, I appreciate it.

Be careful of advice you follow from this forum without confirming it on your own! With a little digging you'll see that most businesses consider an MBA that you get in a 5-year program to be virtually worthless. Furthermore all the top MBA programs in the country require 3-6 years of work experience before they'll take you. Lastly, just what "great graduate school" are you supposed to go to once you have your MBA? You can't go get a second one, you know.

forgot about that one good point! Once you get your MBA you can't go and get another one so I suggest picking the school that interests you most and doing well. For me it is Bentley.
