<p>My school will also send my AP scores for me. If it’s a common app school, you can self report your AP scores and that’s usually adequate for most schools, since it’s not a huge part of your app. So to answer your question, no, they aren’t required, but if you feel that it will help you, then call the collegeboard and have them sent.</p>
<p>You can send AP scores officially in May to the college you will be enrolling in the next year.</p>
