its senior year and im seriously worried about my choices. im not sure whether to major in economics or engineering. I always had my mind set on doing something in the finance field but i dont know anymore. is it required for you to take AP physics b/c i chose my classes for senior year revolving around business. what are some good engineering colleges in the northeast?? some that i looked up are cooper union, stonybrook. my scores for reading and math is 1330 but hopefully improved ( waiting on october sat results ) . Ahhhhh idont knoww

Why all of a sudden does engineering seem so attractive? What changed your mind about finance? Have you done any research into these majors and potential careers at all?
If you are thinking of engineering, then focus on schools that also have good economics departments in case you change your mind. It is easier to switch out of engineering than into engineering.
What is your unweighted GPA? What was the math portion of your SAT? You don’t have to have AP Physics. Not all engineering students have that in high school.

Well my cousin recently graduated as a electric engineer. as soon as he got out he was offered a 6 figure salary and is planning to move to other countries and work there which seem really good. plus my moms friend who is tutoring me also is a engineer and talked about the stuff she did which seemed really interesting. my uw gpa is a 90 and math is 640 the first time which is not the greatest but i hopefully improved on the past october one.

OK, then…do a little more exploring about engineering. But don’t decide on it just because the $$$ look good, engineering is a tough discipline to study and you won’t do well if you don’t enjoy it.
What about finances? What can your family afford to pay?
Does size, location, sports, city/country matter?
