so, i
m an international student graduating from high school spring 2012 and i would lovelovelove to study at BYU. But there is one thing that has gotten me totally confused - is it true that they only accept your application if you have already finished high school? Cause, as an international student, i
ve heard that i should apply for my course already some 12 months before i plan to start my studies in the chosen uni. So, does this mean, that I have to skip a year before I can start studying in BYU or am I mixing something up (please tell me that i am!!)? Here`s the link [BYU Electronic Brochure](http://saas.byu.edu/ebrochure/BYU_International_Student_Guide/International_Freshman_Admissions/Country_Specific_Guidelines.php#QL_1_E)
please, somebody, enlighten me! :(

Hey. I remember I applied in the middle of my 12th grade. I got accepted 3-4 months before the end of my high school. Got all my visa work done, and started college in Fall semester right on time.

I live int eh USA and was told my daughter could apply in her junior year and if she was accepted, she could skip her senior year and go strait to BYU.

So, if your credentials look good enough, don’t wait. Most people apply DURING their senior year, so they can start that summer or the following Fall semester.
Good luck.

And BYU is very interested in foreign students. I would assume preference given if you are a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. But even if you aren’t go ahead and apply.
