My bro just completed plebe summer here at USNA

i just wanted to say congratulations to any other plebes out there...i have an unbelievable amount of respect and admiration for all of you....good luck during the academic year

BEAT ARMY!

Yes, congrats to your brother doogie311 and all the other plebes. I was abled to see them on the first and second day of plebe summer as I was at Navy Water Polo Camp and I have tremendous respect for them all.

That's great to hear doogie311 that your brother completed Plebe Summer...I'm also jelous of sandiegodude1607 for being able to see them in their first days as plebes...it will be my turn next year and I'm excited GO NAVY BEAT ARMY

Me too wisconsinnavy2010, I hope to be there right next to you. Like you said, GO NAVY BEAT ARMY

sandiegodude1607: what do u plan to be your major...also you attended NASS right? GO NAVY BEAT ARMY

We should make a list of the current aspiring Class of 2010...

I found out that a guy from my youth group is up at USNA with the rest of the class of 2009. I hope he's doing well and sticks with it.

CONGRATS to all & good luck with the academic year!! Let the REAL fun begin! And doogie, no "noogies" on your brothers head. He'll be all buffed out now and you won't be able to catch him! Even if you do, it won't be pretty! ;) My older son is working out night & day just in case his little brother can take him now.

Good luck to all those applying this year as well. Don't give up the ship!
BEAT ARMY!!

Dictatoranna, read the beginning of the "Class of 2010," as it began as a list for aspiring 2010 mids, however, as CC forums tend to, it shifted to a new subject.

aha better work out hard...apparently they surprise the plebes with a 10k run now...1st time ever!!!

Ouch...my bro said everyone including the cadres starting moaning lol

The cadres complained too! Wow, they really are working them hard.

aha yea, they have a mini sea trial tomorrow and its been soooo humid and hot in annapolis so like the cadres are hoping it gets black flagged too...its funny

haha, what do you mean a mini sea trial, why not the real thing?

sea trials i believe they do at the end of the year...this is kind of the final part of plebe summer, its a taste of it.

you're prob right

if u get accepted get a copy of the reef points book (the small one) and start studying NOW...they drill u constantly

Sen. John McCain was on "Imus" this morning and spoke about being with his son Jack, a plebe who just finished his summer training. He said, "If you have any doubts about our kids and their future, just go to one of the services academies and see the fine young people there."
Amen, John and good luck to your son and the rest of the plebes at USNA 2009!

ahha I MET JOHN AND HIS SON, both are great great people. I met him and his son both on I-day and on parents weekend.

his son is a very motivated plebe and well Mr. McCain...Mr McCain is an extraordinary individual. RUN FOR PRESIDENT JOHN!!!!!!!!

John McCain--what a true American Hero. He wrote an awesome autobiography.

Senator McCain and his wife sat across from me in Alumni Hall during the Parents' Forum on Saturday. Plebe Parent Weekend was AWESOME! The Mids look FIT and FINE! I would definitely rank the experience near the top along with other major benchmarks in our lives. Everyone was sorry to see it end (understatement of the year!).

I also understand that the members of the Class of 1959 attended tonight's evening meal to celebrate the end of Plebe Summer, and the fare was steak and lobster!

lol my mom would love to hear my bro finally got sum good food over in kings hall..

i actually sat a row away from senator mccain on saturday usna09mom!

what a great ceremony!
