<p>Well, I've noticed most people, well at least the ones I see posting, are the ones who want to go to very prestigious schools or are already attending those schools. Not that it's bad (in fact, it's great!!) but I think getting into not-so-eminent schools is not a big deal in CC. (their safeties.. matches.. blah..)</p>
<p>Well, I just want to say congratulations to everyone who got accepted to somewhere whether it's your first choice or not. It doesn't matter what the name of the school is or how well-known that institution is. It's a heck of an achievement that you got accepted to somewhere and you ARE going to get higher education. :)</p>
<p>I got accepted to.. George Mason U. and Jame Madison U. not so long ago. They weren't my first choice schools (applied to 12 schools total), and in fact they were my safeties/matches. But I was still very happy and excited. I couldn't stop smiling for couple of days :) It was like as if I got into my first choice school. But people around me.. well the ones who take "rigorous" classes were like "Why is it a big deal?" </p>
<p>Well, I hope i'm the only one who knows jerks like those. But anyways, Congrats to everyone!!! WOO HOO!!!</p>
<p>i got accepted to tcu, tulane, and ut dallas so far. won't hear from my top choice schools unitl april. the good thing is i got scholarships from the 3 schools i've been accepted to already.</p>

<p>I got into UConn, Penn State, Simmons, University of Iowa Honors Program, and Ohio Wesleyan, got scholarships from three of them. I chose my safeties very carefully because I prolly will be going to one of these due to money (unless I get into McGill, please!!!) Congrats everyone, I definitely did a little dance out by the mailbox when I got my first acceptance, it's great to have that kind of validation from any university, even if it's not your top choice.</p>
