Congrats H, on Architecture Ranking

What? Harvard dropped to No.6?
H was the No.1, always.

this is a ranking for research, not for overall quality. I too was under the impression that the GSD was #1

The rating criteria:

<a href="http://www.archsoc.com/kcas/researchschool.html%5B/url%5D">http://www.archsoc.com/kcas/researchschool.html</a></p>

Princeton sure has improved since 2002.

I think you should examine what went into each rating. That may explain the difference. One rating was the result of an exhaustive study, the other was produced from a mailing.
One study produced a list of top ten schools you would normally expect, the other produced a random listing of diverse schools (some with rather "easy" entrance requirements).
