All of us here on the Farm can't wait to meet you all. We're so siked to get to know you over the next few years.

Definitely come out for Admit Weekend later in April, especially if you're still deciding between schools. It will solidify your decision, and it's always a blast -- definitely in my top Stanford memories.

I'm a Stanford student and would love to answer any questions you might have. Post them here or email me at lukeknep@stanford.edu and I'll get back to you ASAP.

I’d like to know more about frosoco, in writing it sounds like the perfect fit for me with the smaller academic and LAC feel etc., but I keep hearing peopple say that its awful which makes me really hesitant about it. Do they do all the same stuff that other dorms do like dorm trips and stuff? I’m not the biggest partier and I don’t drink but at the same time I’m not anti-social and want to have tons of fun! Any thoughts are appreciated!

"How many credit units do you recommend taking first quarter frosh year? I sort of want to ease into college with a lighter load.

Know anything about SLE? Is it viewed as nerdy? "

Light load is fine. People I know took anywhere between 12 and 24 (<- don’t know how the 24 happened) first quarter. Personally I think going light first quarter is awesome. A lot of the fun events (football, outdoor’sy stuff because of the nice weather) happen autumn. You don’t want to miss out.

SLE…people generally have an unfavourable view of it here (I hear the nerdy thing sometimes), most without reason. The people I know who were in it liked it a lot. But I can’t tell you more about it because I didn’t do SLE.

I’d say the worst thing about Frosoco is it’s location. It’s close to the engineering buildings if you’re doing engineering…but it’s far away from everything else. Other than that it’s not too bad, from what one of my friends told me.
