Congratulations - A CC First, The Princeton Forum Is Approaching 100,000 Postings

To my knowledge this is the first time a CC college forum has ever hit the 100,000 posting milestone. As of this writing the froum stands at 99,880 postings. No other school has EVER generated this level of enthusiasm at CC. As I have stated before, the quality of spirit at the Princeton applicant level is on a par with that at the College level. Congratulations to all of you!!! And best of luck!

Yeah, yeah, we know we're awesome :P

Anyone remember ED, when you could feel the tension traveling through the Internet?

lol yeah.. i remember that feeling well.

nobody cares

99,713 now. Congrats guys!

Haha yay I love that we are all really so lame. But no joke, this is the most fun/friendly school forum on all of CC. Or, from what I can see.

How did we go down milki?

Most forums are written with purging sweeps run at times proportionate to the number of posts. Otherwise, the database would get bogged down. I think after a few million entries, the database application starts to slow down.

We are cool.

Someone post the time when we hit 100k

I don't know when the post count was ever 99,880, because right now it says that it is 99,785. Still, that's only 215 posts left, which is pretty cool, because that could happen by tomorrow.

The total post count was reduced because several threads were erased by the Mods. It seems a certain Harvard booster came onto the Princeton site for the sole purpose of flaming. The 2 Harry Potter threads seem to be missing.

...As does Hedoya's inflammatory ultra-uber-pro-feminist-and-LGBT-rights thread.

That's sad. I rather liked the idea of Princeton being as liberal as she said. :(

~150 to go. I'm excited even though I've never contributed to any thread in the Princeton Forum :)

Haha every single one of my posts has been on the Princeton forum. I think I'm going to hold out until I get my Princeton decision (self-imposed dedication, I guess :))

Haha I know what you mean jon. I would say that 90% of my posts are on the Princeton forum...when I go elsewhere I am all lonely and scared (sort of kidding, sort of not). I remember I used to "run in" to OMZ in the UT forum and be like "HEY!! I KNOW YOU!!" And I'm sure all those kids thought we were crazy...but whatever.

Post 57 posts, fast!

lols. (10 char) helping it come along.

Now it's 29 posts to go!

Wow, I even feel nervous...
