I realize that this will be deleted since it has to be the most irrelevant thread in this forum's history, but congratulations to the New Orleans Saints!

I moved to Minnesota this past summer and the Vikings are the most obnoxious franchise I have ever come across.

This forum seems to receive the most traffic and I would like my message to reach the greatest audience possible before its inevitable deletion. :)

Sports and the SAT are related to a certain extent. For instance, both are forms of competition and rely on numerical data to gauge performance.

I am surprised that this has not been discarded yet. Perhaps the moderators are presently celebrating the Saints’ win.

Perhaps we should start a Super Bowl prediction thread and perform a statistical analysis to determine the more likely victor. Currently, my heart is with New Orleans but my head is with Indianapolis.

I am favoring the Saints through a combination of the simple act of taking sides and because of the turmoil that that city has been through. I will not be disappointed, however, if Indianapolis wins.

I rooted for the Vikings in the championship game, but now I’m supporting the Saints for the “Cinderella story” factor. And, you know, Reggie Bush.

the saints have had so many breaks in games this season. I am not trying to count them off as a good team, they really are great and i love how all of New Orleans shuts down on Sunday’s to watch them. However, 5+ TOs vs the Vikings and the game has to go to overtime… any super bowl caliber team would capitalize off of 5+ TOs and not let the game get that far. Having said that, i think you know my SB Prediction is the colts over the saints, but i do hope the saints win and wish them the best of luck.

The vikings are also pretty obnoxious like you said, but with Al Davis and the Raiders and Jerry Jones and the Cowboys, no way they are the most obnoxious. The cowboys were bound to fail vs the vikings- they just played the eagles (biggest rival) at home 2 games in a row and there is no way they could keep up the momentum. Their heads always get too big come playoff time

bush is ok, but he’s nothing special… He was hyped up to be one of the best backs in the league out of college, and he’s been a huge disappointment to say the least. However, he’s been a nice spark out of the backfield and in the passing game over the past few weeks.

Minnesota is actually fortunate that it did not lose the ball every time that it fumbled (possibility of eight possible turnovers). If that were true, I can guarantee that the game would not have been as close as it was.

As a San Francisco fan, I do firmly agree that the Raiders are obnoxious. Fortunately, they have not been very successful as a franchise for a significant amount of time.

Bush won the Heisman Trophy at USC and was arguably the top talent in the 2006 draft. However, college success does not always guarantee professional success and Bush’s style (and injuries) has led to his limited role in New Orleans (he is not even the starting runningback). I will admit that when he is in the open field, he is one of the most dangerous players in the league.

I hold this same degree of internal conflict. My heart is truly for the Saints, but I believe that the Colts may have the better prospects of winning.

Yeah, MIN was very fortunate they didn’t turn over the ball on all of those fumbles, but regardless they aren’t a team who typically does that and i don’t feel like they played as well as they normally do.

As a SD fan, i am also glad the raiders suck

Your point about Bush is exactly what i was saying.

Yep, I will be rooting for the Saints as well, and if they win i will be real happy for New Orleans.
