Thank Goodness, NYU did well this year and came out early with the decisions. The waiting period is hell for students who keep hoping for acceptance or fear the rejection.

FOr better or worse, at least the students are put out of the waiting misery, one whole week early. Long time for someone waiting anxiously.

Again, Congratulations to the many accepted posters here!

waitlisted:(((((((

I was so surprised to see the email in my inbox! I was waitlisted.

I was waitlisted at Stern! I am so bummed because NYU is such an amazing school

well to all of you who were waitlisted, that means they still want you!! There are a lot of people with high stats and great ECs that get rejected (I’m not one of those, I was borderline) so getting waitlisted shows that you are qualified, they just didn’t have enough spaces. I’m sorry you didn’t get an acceptance though, but that’s the next best thing! :)

evolving, I agree, even though I didn’t get in, I’m SO glad to just know already!! I’m so glad I didn’t have to wait another week…especially since it was a rejection. That would NOT be worth it!

congrats to everyone who got in! and to those who didn’t, you are not alone :)

That’s so funny that 4 waitlisters posted on the same thread! I didn’t think it was too common (I hope you all get in if NYU is really where you want to go :)
