I would like to congratulate everyone who applied ED to cornell, even those rejected and deferred. It took a lot of guts for us to apply to a Ivy League college and put our selves and aspirations on the line, I applaud every single one of you. To those that got in, I am glad that I can say I hope to see you there. To those that got deferred, it is now your second chance to show Cornell that they made the wrong decision in not accepting you right away, and work hard, you can do it. I don't remember seeing any rejections, but to those of you who were rejected, I am sorry, but this just means that there is another better road in life for you to take. Once again I congratulate every applicant who applied to Cornell Early Decision. Best of luck in the future.

congrats!! Your application fee paid for my dinner tonight! No, i'm being stupid (sorry, 2 finals today...ugh) but, I did get to have a free dinner at a nice restaurant (Taste of Thai in Commons) paid for by Undergrad Admiss Office. maybe i'll see some of you at cornell days, i'm one of the ppl organizing the overnight stays :-)

no, i'm not on the adcom, i'm in Red Carpet, we match prospective students with current students in overnight stay, so we work closely with Undergrad Admissions Office, and at the end of each semester we go out to dinner to celebrate, with cornell, UAO specifically footing the bill - we go all out and order everything...cornell charges you for everything imaginable, so we thought we'd return the favor.
