Congratulations to those who have been accepted, I truly envy you guys but I am also truly happy for you guys.

I am sort of writing this with tears in my eyes (not crying, but just wet eyes) as I have been deferred by Stanford but whatever as I have posted before this one month has been quite special and I had really wanted to meet up with you guys in the main quad next year but who knows what may happen April 1st.

Again congratulations to Stanford Class of 2013 and to everyone else I do not want to sound cliche but best wishes and now there is just only a different journey into adulthood.

As long as you're deferred, you still have a chance! I'm glad to see that you're handling this well. good luck with stanford as well as the other colleges you're applying to, and I wish you all the best.

True that. I sincerely truly truly congratulate everyone who got in. I was deferred, too, and I completely understand ya, ysbera :/ Although I am thankful that I was at least deferred, I don't know whether to take a hopeful, fingers-crossed attitude or adopt something more pragmatic. I'd like to try the latter, but I just don't think it's in my nature. :( It's still sinking in that I may have to do some major reevaluating of my plans. I haven't cried yet, but I've had more or less wet eyes for a while now.
--To all acceptees: CLEARLY, you ROCK!! And you deserve all the happiness you're experiencing now. Enjoy Stanfordddddd
--To all rejectees: (oh god, I'm tearing...haha) I'm sorry :( Truly, truly sorry. You are awesome, and...yeah, I know it's completely no consolation, but...chances are you will get into a college that you will LOVE.
--To all deferees: Stick it out. Be the perfect balance of thankful and pragmatic and hopeful. :)
